PUMA HOOPS X CHILDHOOD DREAMS
Puma Hoops x Childhood Dreams collection imagines what a sustainable Homecoming looks like.
Inspired by 90’s nostalgia the Childhood Dreams brand plays on ambition and playful color of the youth. For this collaboration the Puma Hoops team alongside Kuzma crafted the the story
of an Eco-friendly sustainble Homecoming.
During the creation and ideation of this product eco-conscious values were established right away. Kuz had put a major emphasis on not wanting to do a collaboration just becasue it would create brand heat or hype for both Puma and Childhood Dreams. Instead he wanted the impact of this project to outlast the marketing and clothes themselves. We made sure to use enviornmently friendly dye and printing techniques on graphic tees. Undyed terry fabric for sweatsuits, recycled polyester for mesh shorts and 100% cotton threading on everything else we could. As the environement took the forefront of story telling, nature became the graphic and color inspiration for this season. Organic leaf camos paired with the deep red hue of tracks around a football field
alongside autumn greens and browns reinforce Kuzmas sustainable vision.
